Tom Johnson

Tom is our LPL Registered Assistant and is responsible for offering guidance to all of our clients in regard to wealth management and retirement planning. 

Tom, originally from Hewitt, MN, made his way to Valley City State University (ND) to earn two Bachelor of Science Degrees in History and Social Science Education with a minor in Athletic Coaching, while playing football for the Vikings. After graduation he spent over 15 years teaching social studies to grades 7-12, and also coached football, basketball, track & field, and weightlifting. After exiting the classroom, Tom spent several years working in finance and insurance in Fargo, ND. Based on his experience, Tom understands the importance of listening and establishing the trust needed to help clients pursue their goals. 

Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and sons in their current home in Hawley, MN. He enjoys hunting, fishing, exercise, playing and watching sports, and playing all kinds of games with family and friends. Tom is a life-long Minnesota Vikings fan and is still patiently waiting for their first Super Bowl victory.
