Heather Hughes

Office Manager/HR Administrator

Heather is our Office Manager and Human Resources Administrator, responsible for ensuring all in-house operations run smoothly and efficiently. Among other duties, she oversees company billing, completion of client account procedures, management of employment files and databases, and supports the team to maintain a productive work environment. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from North Dakota State University, specializing in Print Journalism. 

Heather brings to the Legacy team a strong background in customer service and finance, having worked for 15-plus years at local banks and credit unions, as well as five years’ experience in municipal government as an Administrative Assistant. 

Outside the office, Heather enjoys spending time with family and friends, doing crossword puzzles, playing cribbage, and trivia. She spends quality time at home with her husband and son, along with dog Zeke and the true ruler of the house: Meeps the cat.
